As I learn more about how much the new house will cost (property taxes are higher than what we pay now), I am changing my considerations on a next daily driver. I am now thinking of just finding a lower mileage IS300 and be done with it. I think I would be perfectly happy with one.
So I am taking a quick break at work and look up IS300's on Autotrader, and find this...
I like the sedans just fine, but I LOVE the sport back version (or whatever it is actually called). I really hope I can find a lower mileage one in about a year when it comes time to buy.
Either that, or I'll buy a co-workers G8 GT if she feels like selling it to me at that time.

The snow made it so my parents won't let me get a new car while I'm in college. I treated it as my perfect opportunity to get some semesters of good grades to get one of these in a year or two. :D WAGONNNNNS.

Is 300 Sport crosses are rare. They are however, auto only. That said, I want one to compliment my IS300 5-speed.

I could finance a brand new BMW 5 series for what my taxes are a month on just the damn house. The condo + fees are dead cheap in comparison. I feel for you man.

The wagon version is automatic only. In Japan you could get one with AWD.

The circle lights in the tailgate just do nothing for me. Sharp from the front and sides, though.

Well don't feel pity. We are making it work to get the house, not that we are going to be struggling. It is just more than what we pay now, so my price range dropped a little.

which, manual or AWD? Manual has been done (with both the sedan's W55, or a W58 out of a Supra/SC300), or AWD? I think we didn't get AWD because RHD/LHD issues (a la Skyline). That said, I'm wondering if I could use an AWD Toyota pickup tranny/diff to convert my sedan to 5-speed manual AWD.

So you are in Ohio then I take it? I did my search 200 miles out from where I am and found this nearly 200 miles from me. But if I had the cash right now, I'd make the trip to get it.

I'm about an hour from Cincinnati up the Ohio River in Kentucky. I'll be in the area this weekend helping a friend pick up a '88 Bronco with a Cummins 4BT swap. If I have time, I'm going to stop in and give it a look.

Well good luck! For the price, and the low miles, I'm not sure how it could be a bad deal.
I'm down in Evansville, in southern Indiana, about 2.5 hours or so west of Louisville.
